General Rules

• We reserve the right to remove, at any time and without notice, any content from DormDumpster.
• Refrain from using inappropriate language, including language that may look, sound like, stand for, hint at, abbreviate, or insinuate profanity, hate speech (including but not limited to racial, ethnic, or religious slurs), illegal drugs/controlled substances or illegal activities.
• Members are not allowed to submit ads that are directly or indirectly related to the subject of alcohol, illegal drugs, and pornography. Failing to abide by this will result in immediate termination of the member’s account.
• You must have an email account from a supported school to apply for the Service. If a person is found to have registered with a fraudulent address or submitting fraudulent ads, the account will be terminated immediately.
• Cheating of any kind is expressly prohibited; this includes exploiting any deficiency in our code or design, or in the code or design of any third party product or service used in connection with DormDumpster, to gain access or abilities not clearly intended by the product's design. Communicating information about such activities to others will also be considered illegal.
• We reserve the right to contact your ISP regarding any inappropriate activities by you with the Service.
• Your subscription to the Service is intended for your individual and personal use only. You may not share, license, sub-license, parse, pass-on, or in any other way attempt to share, extend, or monetize your access to the Service.
• We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend anyone who fails to abide by these General Rules.

Subscription Terms of Service

• You must be eighteen years of age or older to register as a member or use the site of DormDumpster.
• Membership in the Service is void where prohibited. By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to agree to and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
• DormDumpster may terminate your membership and delete all your records for any reason, at any time, without notice.

User Conduct

• You agree that no materials posted by your account will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party. This includes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights.
• You agree that your posts will not contain libelous, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful material.
• You agree not to collect email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information of users from the Website by means for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or other unsolicited communications.
• You agree to in no way create a false identity on the Website.
• You agree not to use automated scripts to collect information from the Website or for any purpose.
• You agree that you will not use the Service in any unlawful manner or in any other manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.
• You agree to abide by the policies of not falsely describing any product, service, item, tangible or intangible, in any venue on this Website.
• You may not attempt to flood this Website with any information by posting an excessive number of ads, messages, or any other posting.
• You agree to never post ads containing content that is illegal; containing anything in relation with alcohol, drugs, or pornography.
• You may not create fake, fraudulent, or redundant ads for any purpose.
• You may not use or attempt to use another member’s account, service or system without written authorization from the Website.
• You agree that you will not upload, post, email, transmit, or make available any content deemed to be harmful, threatening, harassing, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable.
• You agree that you will not impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity.
• You agree you will not upload, post, email, transmit, or make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation.
• You agree that you will no upload, post, email, transmit, or make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

Protection of Your Password and Unauthorized Access

• Users are solely responsible for protecting their accounts from access by others. You are strongly encouraged to select a difficult password and not re-use that password on any other sites where it may be read by the owners or administrators of that site.
• Accessing or attempting to access any user account not belonging to you without permission is strictly prohibited.
• Accessing another user's account in this manner is grounds for a permanent ban of all accounts from the Website.
• Your email, password, and other account information are not shared with any third party and are strictly for the use of the Website.

Violations and Penalties

• Topics and messages that violate these General Rules will be deleted from the boards and additional penalties may be applied at the moderators' discretion. Re-posting deleted violations (yours or those of others) is also considered a violation.
• User accounts may be warned, suspended, or revoked at any time and for any reason at the sole discretion of our editors and our designated moderators. All determinations of what is "acceptable" and "unacceptable" content will be determined solely by our editors and moderators.
• Intentional, repeated, or severe violations are cause for the banning of your account, all use of the boards from your IP address or your entire ISP. In such event, we also reserve the right to contact your ISP concerning your activities.

• You are solely responsible for your interactions and transactions with other DormDumpster users. DormDumpster reserves the right, with no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other users.
